Brenda Korinek
Brenda is a native of Wisconsin, a wife, mother, grandmother, care-taker, spiritual director, creative writer, and retreat/workshop facilitator who’s passion is finding sacred connections in everyday life. Her first calling in life was as a Registered Nurse retiring after 28 years. Beginning in 1999, she began a 10 year ministry as a pastoral associate and a lay presider and preacher, where she was responsible for initiating and coordinating pastoral ministries and the development and implementation of training for pastoral ministry volunteers. During this time, Brenda found a passion for learning and completed a BA in Theology in 2003, a MA in Pastoral Ministry in 2006, Certification as a Spiritual Direction in 2009 and a Certificate in Thanatology (grief and bereavement process) also in 2009. Since retiring from on-staff church ministry Brenda has enjoyed leading workshops and book discussion groups, volunteering, reading, needle crafts and keeping up with her two dogs.
