At one time the church was the center of every community, but we now are living in a time when the church often is marginalized. Being a Christian makes a person odd, and faith can make a person a target of hate. However, as Peter instructed, we are to be strangers in a foreign land. In this course we will be reminded that being a Christian does not guarantee a life without suffering. However, we must praise Him in the valleys as well as on the mountaintops. In this class, we will study what 1 and 2 Peter reveal about persevering through hard times.
This course is worth 1.0 CEU.
