Are you looking for personal growth and a sense of community during Lent? If you ever feel like you miss out on the journey of Lent in your busy life, arriving at Easter and Jesus Christ’s wonderful gift unprepared, then this daily devotional class and discussion group can help.
You are invited to take a little time each day for 40 days with Methodism’s founder, John Wesley. Through daily studies that include prayer, scripture, readings from John Wesley, reflection, journaling, a blessing, and online discussion, you will grow in faith individually and with others in community.
Expect to spend about 30 minutes to an hour every day; you pick the time of day which works best for you. Each participant will need to purchase their own copy of 40 Days with Wesley by Bishop Rueben P. Job.
Make this the year you fully experience the meaning in the journey of Lent!

Past Students Said…
“The course was an excellent study of Wesley Theology. It was very thought provoking and I enjoyed reading and responding to the comments made by the course instructor and the participants. This was a wonderful way to study and reassess your faith and your discipleship during the Lenten journey. Happy Easter! Christ Has Risen Indeed!”
“This is an excellent course. Bishop Job in the book has done an A+ job in helping persons to consider their faith, learn more about our Methodist beliefs, and consider where we are in our faith, and how we can grow our faith and its expression. The instructor was very good and the course was very well organized. Thank you, it was very meaningful to me.”
“This course was important to me as it gave me a lot more insight of Wesley’s thoughts and ideas. I hope to use this book for other classes and teaching about the aspect of Lent year round. I loved the course, Thank you.”
