In the fourth course of the church administration certification series learners will explore the financial aspects of church administration and how to budget to be in mission rather than budgeting just to keep the doors of the church open and the lights on. The outcome of this course will provide the learner ways to create a narrative budget, methods for developing a sermon series on being focused on mission and not money in the offering plate, and how to encourage generosity through gifts and offerings. It will remind learners that everyone can be involved in ministry and mission. God’s children are more than consumers; they are loved by God and through their gifts bless others with God’s love, grace, and mercy.
