Jacob Goodson
Jacob L. Goodson (PhD, University of Virginia) is associate professor of philosophy and chair of the Division of Social Sciences at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas. Dr. Goodson teaches courses on ethics and society, the history of philosophy, and logic, as well as upper-level courses relating to American Philosophy, ethics, and the philosophy of religion. He is widely published and has written or co-authored five books, plus multiple articles that reflect on higher education, the philosophy of religion, political philosophy, and on ethics and moral theory. His most recent book is Building Beloved Community in a Wounded World, with Brad Elliott Stone and Philip Kuehnert, published in 2022.
