Recent disruptions in weather patterns and devastating weather events have left church administrators and other leaders wondering what this means for their own congregations. But we should also be looking at what Scripture teaches us about weather and its implications. Led by an experienced expert in insurance underwriting and risk management, this two-week course will weave truth into conversation around Scripture and the weather while we analyze risk and ways to protect church properties. God’s control extends over the weather, and with this knowledge we can look at how to best take care of the facilities dedicated to His use.
In addition to Blackboard interactions, 1 optional Zoom meeting will be held on the first or second Friday of the course at 7pm Eastern time. The meeting will not be recorded.

About the Instructor
I retired from the insurance, risk management profession after a 30-year career. During the tenure, I studied about weather and the devastating damage it has on property exposures. I have a wealth of knowledge on risk management, that I will share on ways to protect your church property from storm damage. The focus of this course will be to explore the many scripture lessons of God and the weather. I hope that with every clap of thunder, with each bolt of lightning and the rush of flooding waters, you will join me in a flurry of God’s grace.
With my deep devotion for ministry, I serve as Lay Servant Minister for a three-point charge.
