In this microcourse we will examine thought-provoking questions and reflections to encourage self-discovery and growth, with guidance on leading discussions and facilitating meaningful conversation. You will leave with 36 weekly devotions based on the “I Am” sayings of Jesus, including support Scripture and connections to the challenges and celebrations of the school year.

To earn 0.5 CEUs and a completion certificate, 4 daily Blackboard forums will be required along with one Zoom meeting 6-9pm eastern time on the start date. The meeting will not be recorded. Learners not interested in the CEU and certificate are welcome to participate in just the Zoom session.

About the Instructors
Cindy Curtis is a master teacher, published author, and motivational speaker. She holds a master’s+30 degree in curriculum and instruction and has 27 years teaching experience in grades 3-8. As a Certified Lay Servant and instructor with experience in Lay Speaking, she serves her local church and community. She has been director of youth ministries at St. Andrews Parish United Methodist Church since 2015, and plans and designs programming with youth and families in middle and high school.
