This Fresh Expressions course is designed for church leaders who want to learn new skills for being the Body of Christ in the 21st century. The two-week course will explore what it means to form new faith expressions in the places where people already are, dive into the scriptural connections of the Fresh Expressions movement, and plan how to begin a Fresh Expression.
Mission opportunities come in all sizes and comfort levels for all ages of participants! Whether you are participating in your first mission journey, working toward leading one, or want to stay home and support others in making a real difference for God’s work in mission partnerships or in any cross-cultural engagement, this course will help you and your team launch a truly helpful mission effort.
This course leads you to learn from John Wesley how to practice relational evangelism. You will discover that evangelism involves not only sharing your faith with others but also welcoming people into a community where they can grow in faith. You will learn that evangelism/mission/outreach requires developing relationships with those that we are leading to Christ.
