This course is for new teachers and small group leaders who need a quick introduction into how to teach. It is a five–day course that will give you confidence even if you said, “Who, me?”, and will provide support from others without an overwhelming time commitment or having to be an expert. We will discuss ages and stages of faith development, caring community and space, and making Scripture come alive using learning style methods.
To earn 0.5 CEUs and a completion certificate, 4 daily Blackboard forums will be required along with one Zoom meeting, held on Monday from 6-9 pm Eastern time. The meeting will not be recorded. Learners not interested in the CEU and certificate are welcome to participate in just the Zoom session.
0.5 CEU will be awarded to those who complete the course.
