This course is for laity curious about God’s call to lay or ordained ministry. The three-hour Zoom session, led by instructor Barbara Justis and guest Beth Beaty, will use Scripture to discover the many forms God’s call takes, how Biblical figures responded, and how our gifts can help us find our place in God’s plan. Daily discussion questions will be posted on optional Blackboard forums, allowing learners to deepen their understanding together.
To earn .5 CEUs and a completion certificate, four daily Blackboard forums will be required along with one Zoom meeting, held on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. Eastern time. The meeting will not be recorded. Learners not interested in the CEU and certificate are welcome to participate in just the Zoom session.
