This second CLM module explores basic skills needed by the Certified Lay Minister, including leading worship, preaching and sharing faith, forming discipleship ministries, and providing congregational care.
Requirements:
- CLM Module 1. Please do not enroll in CLM Module 2 if you have not completed CLM Module 1 online or locally.
- For this course, the CLM Downloadable Resource for Module Two will be available within the course.
- Learners will also need Accountable Discipleship: Living in God’s Household by Steven Manskar
- Check with your pastor, district superintendent, or conference office to make sure these courses are approved by your conference for your certification as a lay minister — each conference is different and some may not accept this course.
In addition to Blackboard interactions, 2 required Zoom meetings will be held. The first one will be on the first Monday or Tuesday of the course and the second one will be on the last Thursday or Friday of the course. The date and time will be available when the course begins and there will be an alternative assignment for those who cannot attend.
