Do you feel stagnant in your prayer life and long for a more intimate connection with God? By tapping into your creative side—one you may not even have known existed—you can experience the joy of two-way communication with the original Creator and realize that God is a participant in your prayer life rather than a passive receiver. The two-week course will explore ways to pray using Scripture, music, and art, in your own home and in community with others. We will explore more relaxed, less structured ways to pray, while allowing our creative sides to lead in prayer.
In addition to Blackboard interactions, 2 optional Zoom meetings will be held on each Thursday at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, with learner input. The meetings will not be recorded.
The course is eligible for 1.0 CEUs.

About the Instructor
Judi Fasick has seen first-hand how creative practices can help a person grow and find new closeness to God when used in and outside of Spiritual Direction. She has taught these methods in a small women’s group setting and is passionate about sharing with others how they, too, can experience creativity in prayer.
